1968 AMC AMX

Description

Selling for a friend, Ive driven it "around the block" runs strong , will light up the tires. Only 76917 authenticated original miles, a New Mexico car, no rust, dents, dings.
A very good condition all original ( except for the new carb and maybe the seat upholstery) low mileage AMX. 390 V8, PS, PDB.Automatic trans. All gauges and lights work, brakes and tires are in good condition.  Has been stored for the last 10 years, installed new 1406 Edelbrock carb, ( the original AFB comes with car ), new alternator, new cap/rotor, new plugs and plug wires, drained and flushed the fuel tank, blew out the fuel lines. The transmission doesnt slip, up and down shifts as it should. New headers ( and they dont leak!!) new mufflers and exhaust system, sounds great. Still has the original collapsible spare tire.
All the glass is good, windows go up and down ok. very good professional paint job with painted stripes sometime in the past, never been hit, stolen, salvaged  or damaged.
The Bad:
Interior is faded, small cracks on upper dash pad, carpet is faded, steering column needs touching up. Steers straight but the wheel is not centered, might just need to be removed and re-installed in the correct position.
This is a 53 year old car, everything seems to be working and OK but after being stored for 10 years some things may pop up as it comes back to life.
