This module allows to play MP3 files placed on micro SD card via 2-wires RS485 line (up to 1200 meters long). Files can be called from PC, using USB-RS485 adapter as well as from different PLC /Smarthome/ Aumation controllers, working with Modbus RTU.
The device contains stereo line out audio jack and screw connectors so either headphones, active speakers or some sound mixing devices can be connected.
We send example/testing software along with this module. Saftware includes main functions that can be used with this module, showing Modbus RTU packet examples (in order user could set own smarthome/automation software to work with this player).
All the commands are set by writing device registers (0x06 Modbus RTU function).

Size: standard DIN rail 65 mm wide enclosure (89x70x65 mm).
Commands: standard Modbus RTU commands (write register) allow to play mp3 files from microSD card, change port baudrate, set module address.
Indication: 1 power on LED.
Data storage: micro SD memory card.
Power supply: 12V 100mA.
Memory: non-volatile memory chip for settings (module address and baudrate).
Connection: screw connectors for RS485, power supply, line out, USB connector for files upload, micro SD card connector, audio jack line out connector.
Modbus address: (can be changed by Modbus command) 0...255 (default address: 0x01).
Baudrate: (can be changed by Modbus command) 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 28800, 38400, 56000, 57600, 115200, 128000, 256000 (default is 9600).
Port settings: 8n1
